Alright here's the new Camaro - fully modeled in 3DSMax and rendered with Mentalray.

The body alone is 13,570 polygons and it renders with a 3x turbosmooth modifier - making it 870,464 polys.
The full car (everything down to the elements in the light bulbs) renders at just over 6 million polys.

I still have to map it and do a few other things to the model, so I'm not fully done yet... but at least the hard stuff is done!

I've done that, but without the patience to do one thing, very little progress is made. Just a lot of messing around without a good product to show for it. So consider yourself lucky. :D

It's all about box modeling for me. I never got the hang of spline modeling (cept when it comes to wires and stuff).

That one has the RS nose though. I haven't quite finished that yet - but it'll come too. :)
